Weekly Report 25/04/2020

Updated: Aug 25, 2020

A flat-ish week for my portfolio this week, although New Zealand did not perform too well. This would have been greatly down to the extension of the lockdown. As I write this it is the last day of level four and tomorrow some semblance of normal life will return. New Zealand has done an amazing job to reduce the effects of Covid-19 and it looks probably that we will move down the alert levels quickly.

In the US, there have been a considerable number of new cases over the last couple of days, possibly from the Easter holidays. Given the protests and easing of lockdown conditions in some states in the US, I do not see any end to Covid-19 in the US. This will cause long term effects on the US economy, while the rest of the world gets started again.
